Comprehensive Inspection
The average home inspection takes about 3 hours and is considered a limited visual inspection of accessible systems. The average inspection offers general condition information without offering definitive diagnostic information. My Comprehensive Inspection Service is a general home inspection that can include any combination of the following more definitive diagnostics for additional fees:
- Foundation evaluation by a licensed Structural Engineer $550
- Drain waste pipe inspection with borescope $450
- Drain waste pipe Hydrostatic leak test $350
- Comprehensive roof evaluation $250
- Comprehensive electrical evaluation by a licensed electrician $350
- Comprehensive HVAC evaluation including duct leakage diagnostics $375
- Mold and indoor air testing $550
When my Comprehensive Inspection Service is requested I perform the general home inspection according to TREC Standards or Practice, and arrange for experts in their prospective fields to inspect and offer additional professional opinions and reports. The cost for these Comprehensive Inspection Services is in addition to the standard home inspection fee. The following is an example or the price breakout:
Home Inspection, 2,400 sq. ft.: $375
Drain pipe inspection w/borescope: $450
HVAC evaluation w/duct leakage: $375
TOTAL: $1,200
